Dr. appointment...14 weeks, 6 days

Well, I went to the doctor's today. Gained 2 pounds, for a total of 3 gained pounds...wahoo. Don't really think I'm all excited over any weight gain at this point in the game.

We did get to hear the baby's heartbeat. Glad to hear that. Dr. said the heartbeat sounded good and confirmed that he did believe that there was only "one" in there.

Next appointment is set up for December 9th. I will be having the BIG Ultrasound...yea! And hopefully baby will not be bashful and show off those goods. Hehee. I will let everyone know. It just may not be right away. I haven't decided if we will wait till Christmas Day to share with the grandma's and grandpa's, and if that is the case I just can't put it up here till we tell them. You know how that goes. But knowing me, I can only hold onto a suprise for just so long. We will see.

Otherwise, I am feeling fine and frisky. My "big" pants are becoming my "small" pants as of this weekend. I don't really know if they will make it to next weekend, but I'm just going to have to pray.

I guess that is all the info for now...oh wait. I took some belly pictures. Not to fond of them, but I might edit out my head and put one or two up here. Just having a few problems with the upload program...but as soon as that is fixed, they should be on here. Also pictures of Halloween and Kaila.

BYE, BYE FIRST TRIMESTER

Wahoo! Second Trimester here I come. I am so glad to be out of the first trimester. I was so tired and If I didn’t take naps with Little Miss K~bug...then you seriously did not want to be around me. But, since last week I am starting to feel great. I can go without a nap every so often, and I won’t bite your head off without one! Yea! Moreover I’m getting to where I am not so emotionally bitchy.

As for me and the baby...well, if it wasn’t for the growing mid-section, and lack of um...menses...well, I’d think I wasn’t even pregnant. I swear between the time that I wasn’t pregnant to the time that I found out I was I immediately gained 5 pounds. But now all I do is fluctuate back in forth between that 5 pounds gained and five more pounds. So I guess I really haven’t gained much at all. Considering that I haven’t gained all that much weight, I still am growing out of my clothes. I only have one pair of jeans and one pair of work pants that I can wear and I hope that they will last me a few more weeks, because maternity clothes suck at such an early stage, they are just TOO BIG. I recently had a certain person who is an exercise junkie (and that is the only reason I am letting him off ever so lightly), informed me that I needed to hit the gym to work on my mid section...I so nicely informed him that no matter how many sit-ups I did over at the gym, it really would really not affect me.

On that point, people really are so RUDE to pregnant women. Recently I have been having a very large woman (I am not trying to be mean here, just it seems odd that this should be coming from such an overweight person) inform me that I am going to be having twins!!! TWINS I SAY!!! Seriously, in my personal opinion, I think that I possible may be bigger with number two here (considering everything is already stretched out in all), but I really think that all of the growing is in my tum-tum, unlike with K~bug it was EVERYWHERE! And you know what? Doesn’t this woman realize that once I get my first ultrasound and if there is only one baby, she is just calling me FAT?! Also I have been wearing my wedding ring on my necklace, because recently it has been causing me to get a rash (when soap gets up under the ring and aggravates the skin). So for the last three to four months it has had a permanent seat around my neck...this ever so kind gentlemen that I work with...who knows about my ring dilemma recently asked me, “So, Are you wearing your ring around your neck because you are swollen or what?” Excuse me, do I look swollen? NO!!! Ugh. Like I said, people are just so rude to pregnant women.

Back to me and the baby...like I said not much letting me know I’m pregnant. Not sure if I really feel the baby yet or not. They say with the second you can feel them so much sooner. But I haven’t been pregnant in five years so I think I have forgotten what it feels like. I get these movements ever so often and I think it is the baby, but then soon after I poot or something...so maybe it is just gas. Amity has a theory that it is the baby, just the baby is CAUSING THE GAS!!! LOL!!! Well, considering the lack of actual knowledge of pregnancy, at my next appointment (November 11th) I will hear pumpkin’s little heartbeat otherwise I will VERY KINDLEY ASK FOR AN IMMEDIATE ULTRASOUND. As long as everything goes well though and I do hear the heartbeat with the doppler, I more than likely will not be receiveing an ultrasound till around December 9th till 16th. I will then be between 19 to 20 weeks, and I will then let everyone know the gender if we are capable of finding out. Best wishes and prayers to everyone else.
